The concept of coworking space is somewhat of a hybrid of a big coffee shop and serviced office space. Some are in class A buildings and offices, while others are makeshift and very casual. Just like most major cities around the world, Metro-Manila has quickly adopted this type of temporary shared working environment. This temporary coworking space initially started popping up around Makati CBD, then BGC, then basically the rest of the Philippines’ capital. These offices have become ideal for freelancers and outsourcing, tech, design and IT-BPO start-up companies. Most recently corporates are beginning to set up teams or allow employees to work out of these offices. Complementing its incorporation services, K&C offers temporary coworking space in its Metro-Manila offices. Our offices come with high-speed fiber optic internet connections with 300MB spread throughout our buildings (mainly PEZA) in Makati, BGC (Taguig), and Ortigas (Pasig). The offices have shared pantries, lobbies, interview rooms, meeting rooms, and conference rooms. Between all our offices there are 5,600 workstations (desks or cubicles).
