About Our Space

moboff is a series of coworking spaces in Tokyo.
We combine designer office spaces, cloud based IT services, and community support for freelancers, entrepreneurs, and all nomad workers.

Known globally as a fashion trend-setting area, Harajuku is once of Tokyo’s most vibrant neighborhoods. moboff HARAJUKU is located on Meiji St. halfway between Harajuku and Shibuya stations.

We renovated a space that used to house a restaurant with half the space a coworking office and the other half a cafe. The coworking area features a high ceiling free-address work space. The cafe is open to the general public and also host our many events. Opened in 11/2009. Designed by Mikan Gumi.


Shared Coworking Space:

The coworking space is made up entirely of free-address seats. Wooden tables were custom made, and the work chairs all come from a variety of makers. Flooring is a mix of concrete and wooden paneling. The 5m high ceiling – hard to find in compact Tokyo – allowed us to put up two loft space with extra seating and storage beneath. The space also features a relaxing library area and a small rock climbing wall. Total seats: 50, open 24hrs, WiFi & electrical outlets everywhere.

Cafe Space:

As the floor was originally a restaurant (ok, a Denny’s), it was already had kitchen facilities. Rather than putting meeting space inside the office area, we set up a cafe where our members can take a break or meet with clients. The cafe is also open to the general public who may just want a coffee and free WiFi. Business hours: 11:00-24:00, free WiFi. Cafe Page（under construction, Japanese only）.

Meeting Room:

The VIP room in the cafe can be used for business meeting as well. Features a projector & screen, seats 10.
